DownloadEligible applicants for home rehabilitation assistance are residents who live in owner-occupied homes located in Ashe County and have a household income at or below 80% of the area median income (AMI). Not all homeowner applications will be funded, and priority will be given based on an individual needs scoring method.
This program provides funds to assist very-low- and low-income households with special needs in addressing housing conditions which pose imminent threats to their life and/or safety or to provide accessibility modifications and other repairs necessary to prevent displacement.
Was your house damaged by Helene? You may be eligible for assistance through the CDBG-DR Single Family Housing Program.
